Our last
view from the ship - the docks of San Juan. You can see the nose of another
gigantic ship on the left side of this picture.
We needed to be out of our cabins right after an early breakfast, so the staff could get the cabins ready for the next group of passengers. We spent most of the morning waiting in the lounges with our luggage, until our debarkation number was called and we could leave. Try and get off the ship as soon as you can, since there's really nothing to do on the last day - everything's closed down and basically they're just trying to get you off as quickly as possible. We were going to stay in Puerto Rico for another week so we didn't have a flight to catch, but we did have a ferry to catch on the other side of the island in Fajardo - we were going to Culebra to spend Christmas. But that's another story and another set of pictures. The cruise ends here.
We had a wonderful time on the cruise although it's certainly not a type of vacation we would have chosen for ourselves. We like exploring destinations more than a cruise really allows for. But as long as you realize you're not going to really visit the places you stop at, you can enjoy those things that the cruise does offer (like great food, beautiful ocean views, lots of food, evening entertainment, did we mention the food?).
