Antiguan beachFinally, a deserted Caribbean beach! The resort down the road was devastated during Hurricane X, so no one was interested in this beach (near Carlisle Bay we think, but we're not too sure). We found a taxi to take us here and arranged for him to pick us up in 3 hours (a good thing to arrange since we were nowhere near any main roads and it would have been a long hike back!). Although we came to try to snorkel, the waters once again proved too rough, so we body surfed instead, then relaxed on the beach and read our books.. while the tide came in.

High tide comes in quickly
